Employment-based residency: MITRADEL includes Friendly Nations applicants admitted through work within its special conditions classification. Applicable hiring limits must also be considered.
Investment-based residency: MITRADEL lists a separate work permit category under special economic and investment policies.

Consequently, Friendly Nations residency should not be described as automatic work authorization. Your attorney should review the residence route and proposed activity together.

MITRADEL processes labor authorization, while the National Immigration Service handles the corresponding immigration status. For the standard categories discussed here, MITRADEL requires an attorney to represent the applicant.
